I'm extremly greatful, honored and happy to welcome my Philosophy, Sanskrit and Chanting teacher to Dubai.

Directly from the source, ( Mysore, India). Lakshmisha Bhat will be teaching a Complete Philosophy Course of 4 days at Indianalaya.

Lakshmisha Bhat has been associated with Guruji Sharath Jois for close to two decades.
He received the Vidwan title from the Sanskrit College in Advaita Vedanta philosophy and completed his master’s degree in Sanskrit from Mysore University in 2006.

Lakshmisha joined the shala as a teacher of Sanskrit, chanting and yoga-related theory in the year 2003.

Lakshmisha has so far taught hundreds of yoga aspirants. He believes yoga is incomplete without the right understanding of the theory and strives to impart that knowledge to everyone who comes seeking for it.

Timing: From 7 to 8:30 pm
Prices: 150 AED per session / 500 AED full course

Sessions:

1.- Chanting, ( Bhajans) explanation of few prayers. Chanting of Primary series asanas names, finishing postures, countings. Ashtanga starting and closing prayers and explainations, moral Yoga stories.

2.- Philosophy. Hathayoga Pradipika.
How yoga started, how was introduce in societ. The Importance of Parampara. Meaning of the Guru.

3.-Types of tapas. Qualification to become a spiritual student. How yoga shala should be. How to do practice and how to improve it.

4.- Explaining Asanas and benefit. including Siddhasana, Bhadrasana, Simhasana, and Padmasana.
Moderate diet, What kind of food yoga students can take safely. Why philosophy is very important in our practices.
